The coins are round in shape with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coins’ edge bears inscriptions: ЗАКАЗНІКІ БЕЛАРУСІ (WILD LIFE RESERVES OF BELARUS) * ЗАКАЗНІК ЛІПІЧАНСКАЯ ПУШЧА (LIPICHANSKAYA PUSHCHA WILDLIFE RESERVE).
The obverse: against the background of an ornamental canvas: at the top – the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus and an inscription: РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); in the center – the image of a plant in blossom; beneath – denomination: 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) ; on the left – an inscription: ЛІЛЕЯ КУЧАРАВАЯ (TURK’S–CAP LILY) ; and on the right – the year of issue.
The reverse: in the center – the relief image of a bird sitting on a branch against the background of the river and the river bank; at the top – the representation of the fragment of the traditional Belarusian ornament symbolizing life; and at the bottom – an inscription: ЗВЫЧАЙНЫ ЗІМАРОДАК (THE COMMON KINGFISHER).
