The Obverse: features the national emblem of the PRC, the title of PRC - 中國人民共和國, the down year of issue - 2013.
The Reverse: features a si mu xin gong, a bronze four-legged container from the Shand Dynasty, shaped like a beast with a bird's legs and feather and used for servinf wine. The vessel is set against a background of the decorative design of its typical patterns, with the wordls "Shang Dynasty, si mu xin gong" in Chinese and the face value 50 元.
