The obverse side of the coin depicts the rear of Heydrich’s bomb-damaged car. The name of the state “ČESKÁ REPUBLIKA” is located at the bottom edge of the coin. The denomination and abbreviated monetary unit “200 Kč” are written to the left of the car wheel. The mark of the Czech Mint, in the form of the letters “Č” and “M”, is located below the name of the state.
The reverse side of the coin features the window and bullet-riddled wall of the crypt of the Orthodox Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Resslova Street in Prague. Hosepipes are depicted in the bottom part of the frame on the wall below the window. The text “OPERATION ANTHROPOID” and, on a second line, the years “1942 - 2017” are written below the wall. The initials of the designer of the coin, Irena Hradecká, made up of the intertwined letters “I” and “H”, are located at the bottom edge of the coin.
