Description
Series "Technical inventions of the Hungarian engineers and inventors".
The coin is devoted to the first Hungarian physicist and the electrician Yedlik Anyosh designed in 1827 first-ever by a dynamo machine. Dynamo machine was the first electric generator which began to be applied in the industry.
The coin is round in square with a raised rim on the obverse and the reverse. The coin’s edge is plain.
The Obverse: to the center the relief image of the a portrait Anyos Jedlik, to the top the inscriptions on hungarian JEDLIK ANYOS. The down years of life of the inventor - 1800 - 1895. To the left the inscriptions on hungarian A DINAMO -ELV LEIROJA, to the right year of the invention - 1861.
The Reverse: to the center the relief image of the dymano machine. To the top value - 1000 FORINT. The down inscriptions on hungarian - MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG.
